M.A. Ferguson.
M.A. Ferguson is a Canadian author of dark, character-driven crime fiction. Her work is known for sharp pacing, psychological depth, and an unflinching look at the secrets people keep—within families, institutions, and themselves.  Blending tightly plotted investigations with emotionally grounded characters, Ferguson writes stories where truth is rarely clean and justice often comes at a cost. Her novels explore obsession, moral grey areas, and the quiet moments that precede everything going wrong, drawing readers in before they realize how deep they’ve gone.  When she isn’t writing, Ferguson is building her independent publishing imprint, researching real-world cases, and connecting with readers who love suspense that lingers long after the final page. She believes the most effective thrillers don’t rely on shock alone—they stay with you because they feel uncomfortably real.

Taraann LeBlanc
I am bookstore employee at Dog Eared Books in Oromocto, and was raised on the east coast of Canada. Being an avid reader since a young age, I have always loved getting lost in fantasy worlds. When not reading or writing, my time is filled with crochet, spending time with my children or just letting artistic ideas take the wheel with paints, pencils & music. Being part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, I bring a lot of those tropes into my stories. I published my first novel titled “Into the Darkness” in February 2024, and have since published the remaining titles in the Life of Fae trilogy.

Andrew Butters

Andrew is a multi-genre writer who creates, eats snacks, blogs, toils over his next novel, sucks at golf, enjoys baseball, science, equality, and the Oxford comma. He sometimes lets his love of attention override common sense. You can find evidence of this pretty much anywhere you can find him.

  1. I've been through the list of authors who will be available to sign copies of their works. A formidable group. This is the place for readers, fans, and people curious about genres within and outside their comfort level!

  2. Doing this the same weekend as the Frye Festival is a cheap shot

    1. Your remark is unkind. It was planned intentionally to coincide and compliment the Frye Festival when there were many readers in town. It was presented to the Frye management and there were no issues because we made the hours long so there would be no conflict of events.
